BACK ON THE MARKET

This is simply the ultimate 47 Lightning built by the legendary Fountain Powerboat Factory, PERIOD!

This is a fully loaded, 100% FRESHWATER, 47 Lightning with staggered 1550 Sterling engines. The engines were recently completely refurbished by Mike D’Anabelle to the tune of $51k. Since the rebuilds, there is only 15 hour of total operation time on this 70 hour boat.

DE-TUNED TO RUN ON PUMP GAS  BY STERLING.

Starting with the engines, they are 100% Sterling, not knock-offs or Sterlings rebuild by another builder. These are new 1550 supercharged big-blocks with PSI supercharges. Complete engine specifications and build sheets, with dyno reports, are available.

True to the top shelf work at Sterling, the engines are dressed to match the exterior graphics. #6 Speed-masters with vent- tubes propel this amazing boat, connected to the water through 5-blade Herring propellers.

The boat has a gorgeous custom paint job, generator, AC, shore power and will run at a blistering 125+ miles per hour with acceleration that will plant you in the bolster. The boat sits on a tri-axle steel Myco trailer, with electric over hydraulic brakes and a spare tire.

The 47 Lightning platform is the same hull that ultimately became known as the “Cat Killer”, running with Sterling 1550’s on the Offshore Powerboat Racing circuits, blistering the course at over 160 miles per hour.

The extra length of the 47 allows it to eat up bigger water with ease, and provide a smooth and stable ride at exceptional speeds.

This is not a boat for the shy or introverted. This is a professionally maintained, exceptionally clean, freshwater rocket that will turn heads anywhere it goes.
