This is a BANK OWNED boat.
The Fountain 38 Sport Fish Cruiser Outboard is the most sought after sportfish cruiser in the Fountain line-up.
Loaded with features and engineering that make it as functional as enjoyable to run.
With the Fountain hull technology, you get the performance you expect from Fountain, and the efficiency that give it great economy as well as a smooth dry ride.
The cabin is well appointed for over-night stays, and the fishing elements make it a strong fishing machine as well. The cabin looks great. The only observed issue was a missing toilet seat. 12-V DC voltage looked low on the house battery side and should be checked.
The t-top canvas is going to need to be changed. During transport the TV antenna dish was knocked off the boat, and the canvas has a couple small holes as a result. the typical replacement today is going to be Starlink.
The rear combing pad on the aft livewell will need to be repaired/replaced due to a tear caused by the incorrect installation/removal of the aft seating elements.
There are a couple scratches in the rear third of the starboard side of the boat that appear to be dock rash. The scratches do not appear to go into the gel coat.
A moisture meter was run over the hull, and there was no evidence of water intrusion beyond typical readings on the IR meter.
It appears that there may have been a repair on the starboard rear corner of the boat. The HIN is no longer visible there, and there appears to be a paint/gel line that is not from the factory. A surveyor will need to inspect that inside of the boat as a repair should be visible from the inside.
The boat includes a MYCO trailer. It is reported that the brakes need to be serviced, and missing marker lights were observed.
It is reported that the generator was out of the boat for service, and it runs perfectly.
The engines fired up immediately with a turn of the ignition switches, and it is reported that the boat was recently sea-trialed (since it was picked up by the bank) and that all systems run, and there are no engine codes or faults observed. The engines were covered, and there was not a diagnostic port on the dash, so an immediately engine scan was not performed, but should be done as part of a survey.
