Although the Panther was conceived as a race boat concept, one of the key initial design criteria was that it be easily convertible to a pleasure boat.

Many manufacturers have tried that approach, and typically end up with enough compromises on both the race and pleasure side that the boat is really not outstanding in either category.  The Panther is a striking exception, because once the cowling is removed, and the rear seat re-installed, it truly takes on a completely new persona…

The upholstery elements blend into the race styling of the forward cockpit seamlessly, such that once you remove the cowl, it is difficult to tell that it is a full bread race boat (aside from the potential graphics)!

Now in fairness, most races would never install a stereo, or some of the other amenities that you want in a pleasure boat; but, in the case of the Panther, it was designed as a one-design race boat…meaning that they all have the same minimum weight requirement.  Therefore, the amenities are “free” from a performance hindrance point of view.

The LX version takes the racing pedigree, and expertly blends it with the pleasure amenities that you want.  Great performance, eye-catching appeal, and the feeling of driving a sports car.

Let us spec one out for you!
